Subject of this project is the restoration and conversion of a former grain warehouse in the east harbour in Berlin into the company headquarters of the media company mymedia. Next to the management, the conversion includes space for internet- and print media as well as radio and TV production areas on the floors 6 to 8 of the warehouse. An atrium which spans over these three floors combines the functional areas of the headquarters. Internal staircases in the atrium and central communication areas like department and individual floor lounges evoke the character of a publishing house within this former grain warehouse.
